Team Shooter:

Maximus White

My name is Maximus White and I am 11 years old. I am happily home schooled, and spend the majority of my time in the great outdoors. I guess you could say that I was born with a gun in my hands. My dad made my first guns out of wood that I used to play with in my crib. I have practiced gun safety my entire life even before I could shoot real guns. Growing up I wasn't even allowed to point toy guns at people. I was raised hunting, fishing, trapping, and shooting and have never missed a season. From the moment I was able to hold a real gun I was hooked and haven't slowed down since. I have always shot BB and pellet guns and I still love them to this day. By the age of 4, I was shooting a compound bow and a 22 rifle. At age 5, I was shooting 22 pistols and a 410 shotgun. On my 7th birthday I got my very first AR-15 rifle and it was the best birthday present ever! Since then, I have continued to add new pistols, rifles, and shotguns to my collection and my shooting lineup. I most recently added RFRO and RFPO, and I am planning to shoot Open for the 2019 shooting season.

As of March 2018, I started competing in IDPA, USPSA, and Steel Challenge matches in 4 Divisions: LTD, RFPI, RFRI, and PCCO. I shot my very first 2 gun match at Low Country IDPA in Georgia in March of this year and I immediately knew that this is what I wanted to do! I have shot multiple local matches since then and I am signed up to shoot many more....and I plan on shooting my way to the top! I also compete competitively in archery. I currently hold 3 Georgia compound bow fixed pin archery state titles and have broken one state record, all in 2018. I am also a three time Steel Challenge Grand Master at the age of 11.
